Tomato Pappad, Tomato Rice Pappads, Round-shaped Rice Papads with Tomato
Tomato pappad, with its light orange-red hue, is made from rice flour and tomato. Each pappad is crafted in a small circular shape with a diameter of less than 5 cm. As with other pappad varieties, tomato pappad becomes delightfully crispy when fried in oil, making it a perfect side dish for hot steamed rice and sambar. The specially designed mini round tomato pappads are particularly appealing to young ones.
Rice flour is combined with mashed tomatoes to form a naturally tinted dough, which is then rolled out to create small round pappads.
These miniature pappads are sun-dried to achieve the ideal texture before frying. Coconut oil or any preferred cooking oil can be used for frying.
