Jappy, Alternative to coffee and tea

Jappy is a natural spices mixture which can be used as an alternative to coffee and tea. Coriander (malli), fenugreek (Uluva), dried ginger (chukku)  and cardamom (elakka) are the ingredients used in this mixture. It has a light green texture and a delicious flavour with a natural spicy aroma. Jaggery can be used for a sweet flavour. We could also use freshly prepared coconut milk for an increased flavour. 

Preparation

• Heat 1 glass of water in a pan
• Bring it to a boil and add 1/2 teaspoon of jappy powder.
• Add some jaggery for a sweet flavour.
• Also, add some freshly prepared coconut milk for an added flavour.
