Sun dried banana stem vattal ഉണ്ണി തണ്ടു കൊണ്ടാട്ടം is made from good quality banana stem and rice flour. Crispy fried banana stem vattal is easy to make and this recipe goes well with rice. The use of rice flour gives the crispy nature. It also contains small amount of red chilli powder which gives away a light spicy flavour. It attains a reddish brown texture on frying.
